Privacy

The short version: your scripts, your recordings and your voice stay on your phone. CueCam has no account system, no server of ours for your content to sit on, and no analytics tracking what you write or film.

What stays on your device

• Scripts and folders. Written to your device's storage. We never receive them.
• Recordings. Every take is saved to your device. They are never uploaded. If you share one, you choose where it goes.
• Your settings. Type size, typeface, colour and how many free takes you have used.

Speech recognition

CueCam listens while you record so the prompter can follow your voice, using Apple's speech recognition. Where your device supports on-device recognition, the audio is processed entirely on your phone. On devices without a local speech model installed, iOS falls back to Apple's speech recognition service, which means the audio is processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Either way the audio never reaches us: we receive no transcript, and nothing about what you said is stored beyond the recording itself.

The camera, microphone and photo library

Camera and microphone access exist to record your take, and are used only while you are recording. Speech recognition access exists to follow your script. If you save a take to your photo library, CueCam asks for permission to add to it, and only ever adds — it cannot read what is already there. You can withdraw any of these in iOS Settings; the app keeps working as a script library without them.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, which manages subscription status on our behalf. We receive whether a subscription is active, along with an anonymous identifier RevenueCat generates. We never see your name, your email or your payment details — Apple does not share them with us. What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising identifier and no third-party analytics in CueCam.

This website collects nothing either. There is no sign-up form, no cookie banner to click through because we set no cookies, and no analytics or tracking scripts. The one third party involved is Google Fonts, which serves the typeface this site is set in; loading it means your browser's IP address is visible to Google, as it is to any server it fetches a file from.

Children

CueCam is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app.
